Internal Communications

In the healthcare sector there are huge numbers of loyal staff, many of who are spread out over large sites and geographical areas. Keeping staff informed of key issues and ensuring they are able to communicate their views is essential in ensuring an organisation is working towards the same goals.
It is easy to become complacent about internal communications, using the same tried and tested media such as internal newsletters, intranet, email and briefings. Whilst the use of such media is useful we send out the required message but have little idea of whether the message has got through and been digested. Briefings, when done personally are valuable, as they tend to invite feedback. There are other ways of communicating internally that provide a great deal more information that is useful, not only in planning future communications plans, but can tell us a great deal about the staff we employ.
K&M want to work with your organisation to enhance what you do internally and to ensure that all staff feel communications is important and valued.
